When i am ripping PDF files from our customers i often see this message "(ALL) not setup. Using default color"
What does this mean? Does it have anything to do with the colors in the file? Epson GS-6000 + 11880 |

RE: (ALL) not setup
In my experience it usually it has to do with named SPOT colors in the file. I believe (and I might be wrong) that when it encounters a named SPOT color in the file and it's not defined in the Color Replacement Table, or that option is not enabled, you will get that message. The RIP is supposed to just print the CMYK value of the color if it doesn't know exactly what to do with it.
I have lots of customers that have specific colors based on their branding specs, etc, and they name all their colors to reflect that (ie: SGC Blue). Perhaps someone knows more specifics, if there are any. Scott Manwaring / Administrator OnyxTalk.com - Global Support Community |
