Best fit/allow rotate
It would be nice to be able to use the best fit/allow rotate option while printing with cutter marks.

Best fit/allow rotate
I'd like to be able to use the best fit/allow rotate but still have sections between rows where I can trim. I trim everything across the roll, and when I turn that on it is like a puzzle trying to cut everything out.... Don't know if that would be possible, though. I guess what I'd like is conserve media, with automatic rotations.

So you mean, it would nest them as best it could but leave it in a nice grid pattern with some spacing around them to trim out easier?

simply allowing rotate with the conserve media setting would do exactly that. why oh why isn't that an option!

Best fit/allow rotate
Hi guys, from personal experience I'd like the 'auto rotate' feature to work without being so flaky. There seems to be issues with this feature in the latest version of Production House. Has nobody else experienced irregularities here?

Best,
Christian

Best fit/allow rotate
I would LOVE a simple allow rotate with conserve media -- BUT I've also seen quality discrepancies when I run jobs that I've rotated myself to fit items. A recent job (printed at 300dpi to reduce ink usage and speed things up) was rejected by the customer because the gradients for some reason didn't match up perfectly. I tried everything later to get them to render the same, and in the end it just had to be done without rotating the images (some were rotated, some weren't).

It's a flakey old DJ5000 I was using, so who knows what the problem was, but I would assume this problem might happen across any hardware platform.
