Configure Printer w/out taking others offline

It's really frustrating me when I need to change something with the printer settings that requires me to open the "Configure Printer" dialog. If I have one printer running I either have to wait till it's done (could be a long time) and so I'm stuck or I can go ahead with it but it ends up taking the other printers offline and killing the jobs.

It's REALLY annoying.

Absolutely! Adding a new media profile for one machine and having to wait for anothe rmahcines run to finish.... surely there's a better way!

Not only that but it would be great to not have to exit all of the other Onyx apps before you can edit a printer.
It would also be really nice to be able to add or modify or at least see the settings of a Quick Set from the open dialog or the quick set button in rip queue.
