Cutter setup
Hi,
I have simple question that i can't seem to solve by myself. We have Z2100 Design jet and RipCenter 7 set up primarily for poster printing. Now we have to manually cut media after each poster and i would like to set up in a way that cutter will automatically will cut after job is finished. Could anyone point me to correct direction or give quick tutorial, because i could not find anything related. Thank you Simon If this is wrong forum, please move to correct one. |

I'm using PosterShop so I'm not sure if it's the same, but I figured I'd try to help. Hopefully the dialogs are similar
Select your printer and click on "Configure Printer". Select the "Media" tab. Select your "Media Type" (although you probably only have one option with the Z2100) and then click on the media that you use. Then click on "Options". In that dialog box there's a check box that says "Enable Cutter" click on it to checkmark it. Then click "Okay" to close the options dialog and then "Okay" again to close the configure printer box. Unfortunately you have to do this for each media you use. If you're printing multiple copies of a poster and it doesn't cut between copies, you'll need to make another change. Select your printer and click on "Change". Then under "Placement" make sure it says "Print Jobs Individually" then click on "Setup". Choose the "Options" tab and make sure that "Print Multiple Rows at a Time" is unchecked. Hope this helps |
