Launch Failure (Postershop 6.5)
We are suddenly, after years of trouble free operation, generating a consistent crash on application launch. The error references the psfonts folder, which is empty. Specefic error message references the psrip\psfonts folder, and references an invalid path, invalid directory defined in config file.
Is there perhaps some 'magic' function in Onyx that serves to reset the application, similar to the F8 in CorelDRAW, or the 'Clear Preferences' app with FlexiSIGN? Thanks in advance. John |

Hi John, Try to install 6.5 on another computer, copy the psrip folder of that fresh installation into the broken installation. See if that works. If that doesn't work, you might want to install 6.5 on top of the existing one. Make sure you create a copy of the prnlib and .printer files!!! I hope you've got a backup of your profiles somewhere......? Regards, Marco |

Hi Marco, Fortunately, we do have the OMLs backed up. Problem turned out to be hard drive failure (losing sectors) rather than any Onyx-based fault. Thank you for your help. John |
