Media Manager - "printing is disabled for this printer"
I run three printers out of PosterShop with only two licenses. Since I can only have two active printers at a time I will switch one off and turn the other on. In Media Manager the two active printers will print, but the third will say "Printing is disabled for this printer".

My problem right now is that it states this for two of my printers... They are both networked, unlike my HP9000 which is a direct USB connection. I don't know if this is the problem, nothing has changed...

Media Manager did this to me before, so I shut everything down and when I restarted everything was fine. Not this time though.

Any suggestions?

I have seen this quite a few times and while I don't know quite why it happens I have always been able to resolve it.

Browse to the Onyx folder and open the db folder; now navigate to the printer concerned and open the file called .Settings.xml. Open this file with an xml editor and search for a line '<node name="Active" value="false" />'.

The printer that is disabled will have a value 'False' in this line; change this to 'True', save the change, restart Media Manager and all should be well. It worked for me.
