Network Printing From Mac Tiger To Z6100(non ps)

Hi guys, can you please advise on the following. I'm trying to set up a network printer (or is it virtual), that will print directly from Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11. This will enable me to better print colours from the Adobe CS Suite and QuarkXPress. I know the correct settings to incorporate from all apps for 'application managed colours' that is going to insure not double corrections, but I'm having difficulties with my IT department that don't seem to be that helpful.
So my main question is asking for the settings that'll enable Mac Networking to the Z6100 over Ethernet or even wireless that you guys may use.
I really would like to get this sorted as soon as possible now, this seems to be a much more practical and speedy workflow than sending straight to the RIP, especially for small colour managed proofs.
