This has changed to:

ftp://ftp.onyxgfx.net/P/Printers70/710/

You can also get to the latest drivers by going to www.onyxgfx.net and choosing Downloads, Printers.

Hi guys, just out of curiosity what are the obvious problems that can happen when updating, i.e., installing 7.2 and not the newer printer drivers. I did this exact thing and had a lot of colour issues and problems with custom profiles which as far as I know related from this.

Thanks in advance,
Christian

It depends on what the changes between versions were. If they updated or changed the color engine at all then yeah, that could affect things. I was told by them that they always rebuild the drivers with new releases, but there aren't always code changes, so you'd really just need to read the release notes and see what was affected and how it relates to your printers.

I generally always update everything, but I'm a beta tester, so I'm one of the people that it's supposed to break on (if it does) instead of you. =)
