RIP Queue (Postershop) crashing
Has any one else experienced frequent crashes since the most recent upgrade and patch? It seems that it happens at least once per day recently...

RE: RIP Queue (Postershop) crashing
I am not experiencing any more crashes than usual - though once per day is more than usual.

RE: RIP Queue (Postershop) crashing
Is there any pattern to it? Same type of files (PDF, EPS, etc)?
Is it just JAWS crashing, or is it actually Postershop, where it closes you out of it completely? Scott Manwaring / Administrator OnyxTalk.com - Global Support Community |

I get a window saying something along the lines of "Server Executable has stopped working and must close." Not sure exactly now. I guess when I say it has been crashing once a day is a bit of an exaggeration... but I have been multiple problems per day. One of the problems, which is extremely frustrating: I send a number of files to RIP, when I see they are ready I hit print.... the the dialog says, "Printing 1 Copies of C:\..." for eight files. The next thing that appears in the dialog is "Buffering C:\..." for only six of them. The six that said "Buffering" drop into the buffered job area with a RED X. The other two stay in ready to print... but nothing happens. I can then hit print on the ones that are left and they will go... |

RE: RIP Queue (Postershop) crashing
Do you have other files ripping while you are trying to let those go to print? I know that sometimes if I have multiple files ripping, and I try to print, some files drop to the bottom, and I have to wait to finish ripping the other files before I can start the printer. Weird, but I always chalked it up to the RIP is just too overloaded to start printing.....
