Yes there is an advanced one as well. I know you can buy it direct from them. I'll see if I can track down more info. They don't seem to have any info about it on their website.

oss_flatbed Wrote:if you find out were to get tis it would be great as it would be very helpful I'm in conversation with Onyx about possibly offering a copy of the videos to OnyxTalk users in some form (streaming most likely) as they have apparently discontinued them and don't have plans to update them in the immediate future (though down the road yes). There are no promises, and I'm waiting to hear from them. No promises, but I'll let you know. Scott Manwaring / Administrator OnyxTalk.com - Global Support Community |

As I mentioned above, they have been discontinued and are no longer available for purchase. I am however trying to work out an option to possibly provide a streaming version of the videos that you could watch online through this website.
Nothing is finalized or approved on this however, and I will keep you posted. Scott Manwaring / Administrator OnyxTalk.com - Global Support Community |

My apologies for not posting an update...
They have said that they have reviewed the existing videos and found that much was still relevant and valid so they plan to rework the videos and either incorporate them into the wiki or some other form to get them out there, but I will not be providing access for now. The single most lacking feature of Onyx appears to be the knowledge and training it takes to take advantage of all of Onyx's features. This site is already vastly more informative. I'm in the middle of getting new printers, and with that I'm evaluating RIPs and trying to decide to upgrade to Productionhouse, or move to another RIP. Onyx has been very helpful and responsive. But the single thing that is holding me back is trying to understand how to use all the features, media manager etc. Even for basic things. For example, show me a document that explains how to use media feed adjustment. I know what it does, and I can burn lots of canvas figuring it out, but there were a document that gave a starting point on what to expect each way, what a percentage might equate to in inches, etc, then it would save oodles of money and time. Please add me to the list of people that would like to see some helpful videos. -s |

Couple questions... Are you talking about the "Feed Speed Adjust" (as called in my printer) in the printer options window when you're choosing your media options in Media Manager? Are you already familiar with your feed adjustment settings onboard the printer? I did find that the Epson 9800 feed adjustment does it in 0.01% increments going down to -0.70 and up to +0.70%, but I doubt that within the onyx printer options it shows that same slider scale, so it's not necessarily obvious if it's using the same % on increments eh?
